In addition to the visit to the exhibitions of the castle, the group of children carries out with a mediator a workshop around the realization of perfumed infusions.

By observing and studying a few plants, students discover their hidden and sometimes surprising properties. They then make a mixture to create a natural "flavored potion".

The workshop takes place in 4 stages:
– The group discovers plants through observation, smell, touch…
– Children learn the virtues of some plants with useful properties (digestive, calming, anti-infectious, etc.)
– Through the discovery of traditional materials and illustrations, participants learn about the stages from picking to drying
– Making a mixture for an infusion

The educational objectives:
– Discover plants in a sensory way.
– Encourage methodical observation, comparison…
– Introduce some notions of botany.
– Make a mixture of plants for infusions.
