In addition to the visit to the exhibitions of the castle, the group of children carries out with a mediator a workshop around the realization of a scented floral water with a still.

The alchemist of the castle, a cousin of Merlin and Panoramix, invites you around his still to make a 100% natural scented floral water!

The workshop takes place in 4 stages:
– The mediator presents the still, its operation and the principle of distillation.
– The group discovers some historical aspects of plant distillation from the Egyptians through the Arab World and Ancient Greece…
– Hydrosol samples are presented to students for an olfactory test.
– Carrying out a distillation of plants with the whole group to make fragrant floral water.
