This summer, Le Grand Spectacle de Combloux will take you back in time during its live show created and hosted by a whole group of volunteers.

The Grand Spectacle de Combloux returns next summer!

Last summer you were more than 2000 spectators to attend this unique event during five sold-out performances. See you in summer 2025 to (re)discover this moving and authentic show. In the meantime, find all the practical information for this new series of performances here.

The Grand Spectacle de Combloux is a spectacle that is both historical and fantastic, born from the desire of a Combloran to create an event carried out for and by an entire village. More than 60 volunteers are involved in the project, including residents, traders and children from the village.

Immerse yourself in the history of the region, of these women and men who populated our mountain villages and worked hard to live there, through a sweetened presentation for the pleasure of young and old.

The Grand Spectacle de Combloux can be seen every summer, with a new episode revealed every two years!

Episode 1: Legacy of Darkwinter

1859. Joseph comes from Combloux through his mother whom he never knew, but he knows nothing about this country which was described to him as miserable and wild. Of Combloux, he only has one great uncle left, Cornélius de Sombre-Hiver, who lives recluse on his meager mountain lands, without speaking to anyone.

Joseph was raised in the big city, by his father's family, and despite all the love he received, and the career that was offered to him, he was missing something...
So when a notary from Sallanches writes to him one day that this terrible uncle left him his land and his farm when he died, he goes there to find out who he really is, the last of the Dark Winters...
