The first soapbox race in the Pays du Mont-Blanc
Flying Wolves is the unmissable soapbox competition which marks the end of thesummer in Combloux. We are expecting many of you for a friendly day full of thrills and camaraderie in the heart of the village, whether you are a driver or a spectator!
The 600 meter long route will begin on the Route du Feug. It will test the agility, coordination and team spirit of the pilot pairs.

Get ready to see awesome two-seater soapboxes popping up at full speed!
- Will the daring crews on board be able to master the roads of Combloux with the virtuosity of aces at the wheel?
- Will these handcrafted carts manage to negotiate tight bends and pass obstacles without breakage or mechanical problems, all the way to the finish?

Be there to support our flying enthusiasts during this third edition! Our participants will first have to demonstrate mastery by obtaining the most similar time possible over three rounds, then release the horses in the final speed tests in two rounds with cumulative scores.

Are you passionate about adrenaline and adventure? So, you have all the qualities necessary to become a real driving wolf!
Fee and registration terms
- single price of 40€ per team. This amount of €40 includes registration fees as well as a meal (sausage + fries + 1 soft drink)
- The race is accessible to adults and children aged 7 and over (provided they are paired with an adult over 18 years old). Children under 7 years old are not allowed to register.
- Minors under 15 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

Approval of your soap box
To avoid any unnecessary problems and guarantee the smooth running of the race, it is mandatory to approve your car to start the race. Two approval slots are offered:
- Wednesday September 4, 2024, from 16 p.m. to 20 p.m. – perfect for anticipating a possible modification!
- Sunday September 8, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Plan your arrival in Combloux during the soapbox race
On the occasion of the Flying Wolves, the circulation within the village will be slightly disrupted on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September 2024.
Saturday, September 7th from noon, the following roads will be closed to traffic until Sunday, September 8th, end of day :
- Chemin des Passerands at the intersection of the Cry-Cuchet road
- Route de la Cry-Cuchet between the roundabout ofTourist Office and Savoyard corner
- Stone Cross Road
- Route du Feug, from Chemin des Passerands to Coin Savoyard.
Personalized diversion routes will be put in place to allow you to bypass these areas.
