On June 28 and 30, 2024, Combloux has the honor of hosting an enduro mountain bike World Cup stage: the UCI Enduro and e-Enduro World Cup of the Whoop Mountainbike World Series, with 750 riders expected at the start. The UCI Enduro World Cup race village as well as the starts and finishes will be held at the Brons car park in Combloux.
After the timed stage of the Tour de France last year, this year a MTB Enduro and E-Enduro World Cup stage is coming to Combloux.
What is enduro mountain biking?
Inspired by motorcycle enduro, enduro mountain biking is an all-terrain discipline combining timed descents (called “specials”) and untimed routes on natural terrain, mainly on single tracks (narrow trails). Drivers compete on timed stages, where they must descend technical slopes as quickly as possible, linked together by untimed sections where they can climb at their own pace. The starts are done individually, the cumulative time on each special determines the winner. Due to their physical and technical demands, enduro competitions always offer an impressive spectacle for the public!

The MB Race, theater of the UCI Marathon World Cup
The MB Race, an unmissable mountain bike event, will host the UCI Marathon World Cup on Saturday June 29, 2024. The 100 km course of the MB Ultra Somfy, the flagship event of the race, will serve as the official route. The departure of the Elites will precede the mass departure of the MB Ultra Somfy. The MB Race will also offer other events in mountain biking, E-mountain biking, FTT as well as races for children on bikes and balance bikes. This year, the MB Enduro is canceled due to the Enduro World Cup in Combloux.
