Refuge des Prés
The refuge is located opposite the Mont-Blanc massif in the town of Contamines-Montjoie, in one of the largest Nature Reserves (5500 hectares) in Haute-Savoie, created in 1979.

The brand new Refuge des Prés was built at an altitude of 1933m at the foot of the Aiguille de la Cicle (2552m), ideally located close to the international trails of the Tour du Mont-Blanc (GR TMB) and the GR5, the GRP of the Tour du Pays du Mont-Blanc and finally on the GRP of the Tour du Beaufortain.
The summit of Mont-Blanc itself is visible from the refuge, a big plus, a privilege!
The capacity of this old alpine chalet, completely rebuilt in 2021, is 30 places in adorable 7 small wooden rooms/dormitories for 4 people, and a room for 2 people, bunk beds.
The beds are equipped with duvets and pillows; the bathrooms are shared with hot showers included in the half-board rate.
Home catering at noon, à la carte, many desserts!
