Refuge de Mayères

Access from Geneva, Lyon, Annecy from the A40 motorway:
-take the A40 motorway towards Chamonix and exit at Sallanches (Sallanches exit)
-turn right at the second roundabout, route du rosay
-at the next intersection, turn right, route de la provence
-at the next intersection, at the sign Burzier, la Randonnée, turn left, route du Freney
-at the next intersection, turn right, continue until the Burzier car park 500 meters away (end of the tarmac road)
-departure from the pedestrian path (1h30 walk) or authorized 4×4 access (20 min).
Access from Chamonix, Saint-Gervais, Combloux, Megève, Cordon:
-go to Sallanches (city center)
-take the Doran road which goes up to the right of the church (this road goes up for about 400 meters then continues to the left).
-follow this road for approximately 6 kilometers to the Burzier car park (end of the tarmac road)
-departure from the pedestrian path (1h30 walk) or authorized 4×4 access (20 min).
