A charming, accessible walk that will allow you to discover some of the wonders of Baroque art.
1/ From the church of Combloux, take the Baroque path (departure on the right of the nursery) to the center of the village.
2/ Go up the village to the Tourist Office.
3/ Opposite the Tourist Office, take the Baroque path (marked with an angel), pass next to the St Marc Cross and join the Prairy road.
4/ Continue on this road: you will pass next to the Socquet sawmill, then arrive at the hamlet of Prairy.
5/ Take the chemin du Fayet then cross the national road and continue towards Les Choseaux before reaching the chapel of Cupelin (St Gervais les Bains) then the chapel of Gollet.
6/ Go back towards St Nicolas de Véroce (after passing next to the Chapel of La Combe, Chapel of Plans, Chapel of Chattrix) where you will appreciate the beauty of the recently renovated church. Next to the church, you can visit the Museum of Sacred Art.
7/ From St Nicolas de Véroce, go down to reach the village of Contamines Montjoie (church) then at the bottom of the valley the Notre Dame de la Gorge church.

At the crossroads, the church is on your right.

Circuit feasible in 2 steps:
Combloux-St Nicolas de Véroce: approximately 4 hours. or St Nicolas de Véroce – Notre Dame de la Gorge: approximately 3 hours.
Tip: Have a car on arrival as there is no direct bus connection.

Information: the churches are open to the public during the day. The chapels are closed and are only open during guided tours.
