Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Pêche au lac des Gaillands

This body of water is located on the banks of the Arve, in the Chamonix valley, at an altitude of 1017 m. It is home to a good population of brown trout, but these can be difficult to lure due to the clarity of the water.
It is also stocked with rainbow trout, which are easier to catch, especially by less seasoned fishermen. Finally, note the presence of California crayfish in fairly high density, which can be fished with the scales.
