Combloux's biological lake is the first ecological lake open to swimming in France. Experience a swim - with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc - in its crystal clear water, is a must-do activity of our alpine village.

The first ecological body of water open to swimming in France, in a breathtaking panorama, facing Mont-Blanc... Rather than chlorinated swimming pool water, natural water taken from the drinking water network is warmed by the sun's rays up to 26°C.
More than 10 aquatic plants ensure impeccable water quality in the 000m² of swimming areas. Heated naturally by the sun's rays, the water temperature varies between 1900°C and 19°C, thanks to a tarpaulin stretched at the bottom of the swimming pool, with gently sloping access ideal for children. The lake is located in the center of the village in an alpine landscape preserved from any “concrete” architecture. The lake is bordered by a wooden solarium and a grassy beach and a restaurant bar.
To allow the plants to carry out their work in good conditions and have optimum water quality, the number of daily entries to the water body is limited to 800. Reservations strongly recommended.

– At the Tourist Office from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
– Directly at the Plan d’eau cash desk from 10:30 a.m. subject to availability.
Outside of school holidays: only on site at the Biotope lake.
Tickets purchased in advance cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Only swim briefs and boxers are allowed. Underpants and swimming shorts are prohibited.
At the checkout, you will be given a bracelet that you can use all day between 10:30 a.m. and 19 p.m., 20:30 p.m. during late nights. You can enter and leave as many times as you want.

A40 at 12km, take the Sallanches exit, then follow the signs towards Combloux/Megève (around 20min)
In the center of the village, 1st roundabout arriving from Sallanches.
Park your car at the Cristaux car park (45.9582634, 6.6296225) nearby and go down the stairs 2 min walk from the roundabout.
