Domaine Nordique 4 Saisons des Contamines-Montjoie
At the foot of the Contamines national nature reserve and a stone's throw from the Notre-Dame de la Gorge site, the Nordic area opens its doors to you!
WINTER: The 4-season Nordic area of Les Contamines is open in winter from the first snow on an exceptional site with its typically mountain environment. It is also the departure point for snowshoe outings, dog sledding and horse-drawn carriage rides.
It benefits, in addition to quality snow, from a tranquility which is characteristic of unspoiled valleys.
Here and there, you will come across a multitude of footpaths that run along the banks of the Bon-Nant or along the side of the slopes like a garland hanging from a natural balcony.
At the beginning of the season, snow guns ensure an early opening of the ski area.
The Nordic area is a welcome, services, two toboggan sites for children (free access), 3 km of white trails reserved for pedestrians and without difficulty (free access), 2 restaurants and 5 maintained loops. From beginner to advanced, for skating or traditional skiing, 25 km of perfectly groomed and maintained slopes are divided into:
Green loops: 1,5 and 3,5 km
Yellow loop (lit): 1,5 km
Blue loop: 4,5 km
Red loop: 8,5 km
Black loop: 9 km
An international biathlon stadium which allows, in addition to competition, initiation (in winter and summer) to this discipline which combines cross-country skiing and shooting.
SUMMER: A 2,5km tarred wheel ski loop and many activities such as the family and friends biathlon challenge, biathlon courses, Wednesday evening evenings.
