This morning, Combloux woke up to snow. 10 cm fell in the village at an altitude of 980 meters.
If the summits had already whitened several weeks ago, the snow was delayed until this morning in the village center of Combloux located at an altitude of 980 meters. At the end of the morning, 10 cm of fresh snow covered the streets of the village, while the snow front recorded 25 cm on the counter.
At the top of the Les Portes du Mont-Blanc ski area, which will officially open on December 23 for the winter season, there were 35 cm at the top of the Combloux sector and 50 cm at the top of Giettaz, the highest point of the linked area.
Further snowfall is expected in the coming days, auspicious weather just over three weeks before the Christmas holidays.
