Pêche dans la rivière Arve

The course is located on the territory of the municipality of Chamonix. Its limits are the railway bridge at Les Tines downstream, and the road bridge at Argentière upstream.
This is a recreational course set up by the APPMA du Faucigny in collaboration with the town hall of Chamonix, poisoned in rainbow trout and subject to specific regulations.

The sector, isolated from the rest of the Arve, downstream, by the Houches dam, was hitherto scarcely rich in fish and does not harbor a functional fario trout population: the aim is therefore to create a halieutic course, intended for beginners as well as experienced fishermen and allowing the development of fishing leisure in this sector. It will be an excellent complement to the various lowland and mountain lakes located nearby, as well as to the nearby Eau Noir de Vallorcine, populated by wild fish.

Regulations: Only one trout of 25cm minimum per fisherman per day
Types of fishing: All techniques, with a barbless single hook
Fish stock: Rainbow trout, Fario trout
