An association for education and awareness of the mountain environment since 1985, the CNM offers activities and workshops for everyone, all year round, from 3 years old to 80+ years old. Learn about the many benefits of membership.
The Mountain Nature Center offers activities mainly in contact with nature: thematic workshops, naturalist walks, discovery hikes, etc.
National events also stop in Sallanches, thanks to the association which offers activities during national or international days (forest, lynx, etc.), the Nature Festival, etc.
The CNM offers around a hundred general public events each year, including the famous naturalist summer courses, offering all the curious the opportunity to discover or learn more about botany, geology, glaciology but also soil sciences, insects, ornithology…
A specialist in mediation for schools, the Mountain Nature Center presents more than 30 different activities, some of which are available for leisure centers.
During the school holidays, discover the P'tits Experts de la Nature®, workshops for children aged 6 to 12. Whether indoors or outdoors, go to the website to discover a program that varies with the seasons.
The CNM is also in charge of running the Business Club for the Mountain and its Sustainable Development (CEM2D).
