Lac de Roselette

It is a small lake whose attraction lies mainly in the panorama it offers over the Mont Blanc range and the Contamines Montjoie valley.

You will not fail to contemplate the landscape from the Col du Joly. Beautiful view of the Mont Blanc chain; Mont-Blanc, Tre la Tête Glacier, Aiguille des Glaciers, etc...

Further information :
Take the Gorge then the Signal gondolas (2nd section), then take a path towards the Col du Joly. Lac de Roselette is on your left, at the top of the path. Walking time one way: 20 minutes from the Signal. You can continue on the path to the Col du Joly (30 additional minutes). The return can be done by gondola or on foot.

Location details

Departure from Notre-Dame de la Gorge towards Nant-Borrant via the Roman road. You pass. Cross two small torrents, pass a sheepfold and go up the right bank of the Lacs Jovets reservoir. Climb a steep ramp via switchbacks, shortly after you will reach the first of the two lakes.
