Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Lac du Brévent

Lac du Brévent is located not far from the arrival of the Brévent cable car. Of glacial origin, it is 2 meters above sea level.
This mountain lake offers a splendid panorama on the Mont-Blanc massif, but also on the Fiz chain. Once at the lake, you will then have two alternatives. Go up to the cable car or go down towards the Refuge de Bellachat, then towards the village of Les Houches.
Further information) :
Animals are not accepted because the lake is located within the perimeter of the nature reserve.
Tips and Suggestions

Be careful, high altitude lakes are fragile! Respect the area: avoid swimming or washing dishes, trampling on wet areas, putting watercraft in the water (buoys, paddles, etc.) and throwing nothing into the lake (stones, waste).
