The 110th edition of the Tour de France puts the Rhône-Alpes region in the spotlight. As far as we are concerned, the Haute-Savoie will also be a stronghold of the 2023 edition of the Big Loop.
The famous cycling competition will thus unfold during 5 days in department 74.

The Haute Savoie route of the most prestigious of cycling competitions gives us a glimpse of a arduous course, punctuated by multiple ascents of passes.

To illustrate our point, here is a brief overview of stage 15, preceding the CLM Passy-Combloux and marking the second day of our top athletes in Haute-Savoie.

After having criss-crossed the Chablais massif, the Arve valley and finally the Pays du Mont-Blanc, our cyclists will finally switch to the stopover town of Saint-Gervais in the Val Monjoie, on Sunday July 16.

It is in this thermal village belonging to the historic province of Faucigny, that they will take a well-deserved rest day – Monday, July 17 – following their sporting exploits.

Our cyclists will resume service Tuesday, July 18, continue their crossing of the Alps towards Combloux.

As previously mentioned, the 16th stage of this Tour de France will be marked with a frantic race of our cyclists between Passy and Combloux .
The color is announced, the 4th day of Grande Boucle in Haute-Savoie promises us:

It is expected that the route will then take the management of Domancy, where competitors will then tackle theclimbing the famous hill eponymous, the scene of one of the greatest exploits of French cycling. The legendary rise is characterized by average slope at 9,4% on a 2.5 km length.
