On June 13, 2025, Combloux vibrated to the rhythm of the Critérium du Dauphiné, with the arrival of the 6th stage at La Cry, in the upper Combloux region. This unmissable event of the cycling season, which takes place every year in the Alps before the Tour de France, lived up to all expectations. With its mountainous courses and exceptional Alpine setting, this stage made a lasting impression.
After Vingegaard in 2023, Pogačar signs his turn

On June 13, Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates XRG) made the difference in the final kilometers, winning solo at the summit of La Cry, in the heights of Combloux. He beat Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) and Florian Lipowitz (Redbull–Bora–Hansgrohe), in a spectacular finish with Mont Blanc in the background. Thanks to this victory, Pogačar took the yellow jersey and the lead of the general classification. A symbolic performance, after the time trial of Tour de France 2023 in Combloux, won by Vingegaard.
A sixth stage in the Pays du Mont-Blanc

This 139-kilometer stage, starting in Valserhône (Ain), offered an explosive finale with three formidable climbs in the final 40 kilometers. Among them, the famous Côte de Domancy, renamed the Bernard Hinault climb, was a key passage. Famous for having crowned Hinault world champion in 1980, this 2,4 km climb with an 8,6% gradient put the riders to the test.
But the challenge didn't end there. After Domancy, the peloton continued with a 3 km section at 5% gradient through Combloux, before tackling the final challenge of the day: the climb to La Cry (2,7 km at 8,2%). A short and fast-paced stage, where the best climbers made the difference.
