Balade jusqu'au village du Cruet – Variante du Sentier du Baroque

A variant of the Baroque Trail which allows you to discover the church of St-Nicolas de Combloux, the Fayet oratory, the Chapel and the village of Le Cruet.
A loop through small hamlets and old farms.
Topo / step by step

1/ From the church of Combloux, take the Baroque path (departure on the right of the nursery) to the center of the village.

2/ Go up the village to the Tourist Office.

3/ Opposite the Tourist Office, take the Baroque path (marked with an angel), pass next to the St Marc Cross and join the Prairy road.

4/ Continue on this road: you will pass next to the Socquet sawmill, then arrive at the hamlet of Prairy.

5/ Take the path that descends to the left to reach the stonemason.

6/ Cross the road to take the path which goes down to the hamlet of Cruet. There you will find a chapel dedicated to Saint-Roch and Saint-François de Sales (door/gate). Take a look at the trusses located a little further down on the right, the struts are exceptional (strut: oblique wooden element found under the roof of the trusses).

7/ Go to the right to reach Grange-Neuve, then Les Econduits, then go back up to the right to reach Le Fresney d'en bas.

8/ Cross the road to Saint-Gervais, then join the Sentier du Baroque.
Possibility of joining the chapel of Cupelin (note the chapel is closed), Cross of the Passion on the front of the chapel.

9/ Return via the Baroque Trail.
