Superb waterfall located in the Contamines-Montjoie Nature Reserve, in the heart of the Laya forest. Fairly easy route and ideal for families.

Departure: Notre-Dame de la Gorge car park
Access: Cross the center of the village, follow the direction of Notre-Dame de la Gorge, towards the bottom of the valley. Then park at the Notre-Dame de la Gorge car park.

From the baroque chapel of Notre-Dame de la Gorge, take the Roman Road to the green mountain pasture of Nant Borrant.
Before arriving at the refuge of the same name, turn left, towards Combe Noire.
Cross the Bonnant, in the heart of the Laya forest, to reach the La Laya mountain pasture and its pretty chalets. All you have to do is cross flat to the very beautiful Combe Noire waterfall.
