Route description
During this hike without difficulty, the chalets of Maison Neuve, the mountain pastures of Truc and Miage testify to the relentlessness of man over the centuries to domesticate the mountain space and enhance these slopes.
From the Gruvaz car park, take the 4×4 path which leads to Maison Neuve and winds through forests and clearings. All along the way, the marked trail takes you to the Truc mountain pasture. From there, a magnificent view of Mont Joly and the Dômes de Miage.
The descent to the Miage mountain pasture is via a steep path that offers a breathtaking view of the torrent and the Miage chalets below. In front of you is the Col du Tricot which peaks at 2120m.
From Miage we take the wide 4×4 path which will take you easily to the Gruvaz car park.

Tips and Suggestions
Do not hesitate to stop at the refuges of Truc or that of Miage along your route.
