Route description
After crossing the Flée bridge, the path winds and climbs gradually, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
Arriving at Combes des Fours, the path leading to the Col de Portette will allow you, with a bit of luck, to observe the majestic bearded vultures.
1/ Park at the Cochenet car park (or at Plagne d’en Haut 1024 m)
2/ Take the direction of the Flée bridge (1060m) –
3/ At Pont de la Flée, continue steeply uphill to reach Pierre Fendue.
4/ Continue the path to the right, towards Mayère, and cross the bridge spanning the Torrent des Fours.
5/ Then leave the Mayère path, taking the path on the left towards Les Fours.
6/ Arriving at the Combe des Fours, cross the Torrent des Fours and continue the more or less steep slope to the Gouille des Fours.
7/ Continue along the valley to reach the Col de Portette after a short climb
8/ Start the return by the path under the Col de Portette,
9/ After the steep bends, join the 4×4 path and follow it to the Chalets de Cœur.
10/ Then join Pierre Fendue, the Flée bridge then the Cochenet car park.
