Lunch on the terrace of the Petite Ravine restaurant facing Mont-Blanc.
Topo / step by step1/ From the Cuchet car park, you will climb quickly through the undergrowth towards the Alpage de Beauregard.
2/ Then, take the path which goes flat on your left, through mountain pastures and undergrowth. You will then arrive at the place called “La Ravine” where a very clear view of the Mont-Blanc range awaits you.
3/ Possibility of continuing to the Petite Ravine restaurant (+/-200m away) otherwise go straight back down via a narrower path towards La Fouettaz. You will first cross the forest before reaching the chalets of La Berthaz, then the hamlet of La Fouettaz.
4/ You have the choice for the return to the chalet de la Vieille:
– or take the path that runs alongside the road, and go to Fontaine Désir (working farm), go back +/- 15 minutes to reach the chalet de la Vieille.
– either from La Fouettaz, immediately take the path on the left which goes up towards 2 chalets and you will arrive flat at the Chalet de la Vieille.
5/ Cross the alpine pastures of La Vieille (cows or horses) and go down to Cuchet.
