Description

Produced with the collaboration of the ONF, Espace Mont-Blanc, the Department and the municipality, it reuses the paths and access ramps created at the beginning of the XNUMXth century and guides the walker in the footsteps of the graniters. The various themes are approached thanks to thematic panels, reconstruction of a forge, exhibition of small equipment. Taking this trail gives the feeling of living in another era where men worked hard to earn a living. Indeed, many vestiges of the old quarries (winches, slides, access ramps, boarding platform, etc.) immerse you in the atmosphere of the joyful graniters from neighboring Italy.

Free access or guided tour from the 2nd bend in the Plan Mouillé ZAC.
Be careful, during winter the path is slippery – wear good shoes.
