1) From Plaine-Joux, go up through the station to Barmus via the vehicle track. – 2) Les Ayères des Rocs and Les Ayères d’en-Haut – 3) Arriving at Les Ayères des Pierrières, you follow the Passy nature reserve – 4) Join the Chalets du Souay then the Châtelet d’Ayères refuge – 5) Go down again to Lac Vert to then reach the starting point.

Description

From Plaine-Joux, climb through the resort to Barmus via the motorable track. Continue on a flat crossing passing through the Ayères des Rocs and the Ayères d'en-Haut. Arrived at Ayères des Pierrières, you follow the nature reserve of Passy. Home to exceptional fauna and flora in a diversity of mountain ecosystems, this area is protected and regulated. Please take care of it. Continue on the downhill track to reach the Chalets du Souay and then the Châtelet d'Ayères refuge. Descend further to Lac Vert to then return to the starting point.
