Route description

Discover the Vallée de Cœur trail through this walking ball: a hike for good hikers offering breathtaking views of the mountains.
Discover the Vallée de Coeur hiking trail from Le Cochenet, a must-see hiking experience in Cordon. Suitable for experienced hikers (red level), this trail promises exhilarating discoveries in an exceptional mountain setting.

Your journey begins in the forest, where the path rises gently before opening onto the vast expanses of the mountain pastures of the Coeur Valley.

Here, pastoralism comes to life before your eyes, in perfect harmony between nature and local culture. The trail then takes you to the ridge, to the Petit Pâtre hut where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Aravis range as well as the majestic Mont Blanc from the picnic tables provided.
