Parcours d'Orientation des Houches – Les Chavants

Orienteering is a sport consisting of completing a route defined on a very precise map. It can also be an excuse for a walk in the countryside where you can test your ability to find your way in space.
To practice this physical activity, it is necessary to know how to read a map, to transpose it on the ground (ability to connect the elements of the map with those of the ground and vice versa), to know the meaning of the legends and to understand the field scales. A fun activity for everyone.
Route marked with 18 markers (gray terminals), placed on remarkable elements of the terrain, which are referenced on the map as obligatory crossing points. Punch with the pliers attached to the different terminals.
