Tramway du Mont-Blanc

About
One of the last, highest cogwheel trains in France awaits you for a trip with retro charm during which the alpine landscapes and Mont Blanc are discovered, majestic, over a timeless ride.
In winter, it takes pedestrians and skiers to the Plateau de Bellevue (1800 m) and to the Prarion ski area for the pleasure of a most picturesque walk and the grandeur of an exceptional panorama.
In summer, it takes you to the Nid d'Aigle (2372 m). Take the cogwheel train and conquer the peaks effortlessly. Jeanne, Marie or Anne will transport you to the gates of the high mountains for the greatest pleasure of your eyes... and your legs! Up there, the Bionnassay glacier is only a thirty-minute walk from the refuge. An accessible family outing, to get as close as possible to the ice, observe the seracs and feel the fresh breath of eternal snow on your face.
From there, experienced and equipped mountaineers can access the Tête Rousse and Goûter refuges for the ascent of Mont Blanc.
