THE GLACIORIUM
A true witness to the climate changes of our century, the Montenvers site deserved a space dedicated to glaciology! The Mer de Glace, its formation, its history, its future evolutions, this is what you can discover by visiting this interactive and educational place...

The total visit (cave and trips included) lasts an average of 2 to 3 hours. Visiting time can be doubled during peak periods.

RESTORATION
For eating, there are 3 options: either a Savoyard or traditional meal at the Restaurant du Refuge du Montenvers, or a fast food meal at the Bar des Glaciers, or finally the Panoramique restaurant with a view of the glacier!

HOTEL
The Refuge du Montenvers was opened on July 1, 2017 after renovation by the Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet label, a leading player in mountain hotels for over 30 years.
Le Refuge du Montenvers offers a dormitory for 10 people, double rooms and family rooms, as well as suites, all in the atmosphere of a traditional mountain refuge.

Warning! The stairs to go down to the ice cave are openwork metal stairs that can hurt dogs' pads.
