A night on a cliff

The night is organized and supervised by a qualified high mountain guide, with safety as the first priority, and good humor to ensure that your experience is memorable.

Day 1

  • Meet at 17 p.m. for an approach walk to the cliff
  • Introduction to abseiling and rope ascent techniques
  • Assembly and installation of portaledges on the cliff
  • Free meal taken at the summit around 19 p.m.
  • Abseiling to reach the portaledge beds for the night

Day 2

  • Wake up around 7 a.m.
  • Free breakfast taken together on the top of the cliff
  • Dismantling of portaledges
  • Return to the parking lot around 9:30 a.m.

What are portaledge beds?

It is a durable canvas stretched over a rigid metal frame which is attached to the rock face using straps and carabiners. Suspended along a cliff, the portaledge offers a comfortable and secure resting space.
