The Crystal Museum offers you a journey through Alpine mineralogy, in France, in Europe and around the world. Come and discover exceptional collections for their quality, their diversity and their beauty through a renewed scenography in 2021.
The exhibition begins along the Alps with exceptional pieces from the Alps (France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria) and more particularly from the Mont-Blanc massif. It offers one of the finest ensembles of pink-red fluorites, smoky quartz, axinites, siderites, epidotes... of international renown.
The exhibition continues around the world, starting from French mines and quarries, it takes you to discover the most emblematic pieces from the five continents: azurites from Chessy-les-Mines, aquamarines from Pakistan, Peruvian pyrites, Congolese dioptases and Australian opals…

The treasure :
Gold, silver, copper... Sapphires, rubies, emeralds... Topazes, aquamarines, garnets... Noble metals, precious stones and fine stones, raw or cut, await you in the Treasure of the Crystal Museum

Guided tours :
Thursdays at 14:15 p.m. and 16:15 p.m. during French school holidays.
Come and discover the Crystal Museum in the company of a crystal maker from the Chamonix Mineralogy Club. Explore with him the mineralogical treasures of the Mont-Blanc massif and discover the world of crystal seekers.
