Musée des Cristaux – Espace Tairraz
The Crystal Museum offers you a journey through Alpine mineralogy, in France, in Europe and around the world. Come and discover exceptional collections for their quality, their diversity and their beauty through a renewed scenography in 2021.
The exhibition begins along the Alps with exceptional pieces from the Alps (France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria) and more particularly from the Mont-Blanc massif. It offers one of the finest ensembles of pink-red fluorites, smoky quartz, axinites, siderites, epidotes... of international renown.
The exhibition continues around the world, starting from French mines and quarries, it takes you to discover the most emblematic pieces from the five continents: azurites from Chessy-les-Mines, aquamarines from Pakistan, Peruvian pyrites, Congolese dioptases and Australian opals…
