The Refuge du Lac Blanc dominates the Chamonix Valley. It is ideally placed to admire one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world.

In the heart of the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve, Le Refuge du Lac Blanc is an essential stopover on the Tour du Mont Blanc.

In order to preserve this exceptional stage, guarantor of remarkable biodiversity and landscapes, the entire Refuge team works to minimize its impact in order to pass on these inestimable riches to tomorrow's generations.

Lac Blanc is one of the rare areas where nature has remained intact.

Let's be contemplative, curious, admiring but let's not forget that its conservation requires rules. We make our energy with the lake, we take water from the lake, welcome and help us to minimize our consumption.

The night is half board only: night, dinner, breakfast.

Sustainable tourism

Electricity is produced by a hydroelectric plant.
Water consumption is reduced by offering paid 4-minute showers, and by cleaning sheets at Sequoia Passy, an eco-responsible dry cleaner. The waste is sorted, taken down and then managed by Chamonix Propreté. Organic waste is composted. The cleaning products are organic. The oil boiler has been dismantled. Use of ecocup for takeaway sales.
