Refuge du Nid d'Aigle

Located near the arrival of the Mont Blanc Tramway, the Nid d'Aigle refuge, built in an arc, is particularly well integrated into the landscape.
Please note reception conditions changed this summer 2023 due to TMB work.
SUMMER 2023
Due to the work at the Nid d'Aigle station, reception of the public for overnight stays is only possible from Friday to Sunday and by reservation only.
The refuge welcomes you every midday for your lunches.

Facing the Pointe Percée, the highest point of the Aravis massif, and dominated by the Aiguilles du Goûter (3 m) and Bionnassay (863 m), our terrace is conducive to contemplation. The impressive Bionnassay glacier is just a stone's throw away: those early in the morning will no doubt come across an ibex on its moraine.

Mountaineers coming down late from the roof of Europe will always be welcomed: they can even reward themselves with a fondue!

The dormitories are equipped with duvets and pillows, you will only need a personal sheet-sack.

Sanitary facilities are available in the refuge and outside. There is no shower.

We can provide you with a picnic room for people who want to cook themselves: remember to bring your cooking equipment. Our cook can also prepare pasta, omelettes or cold cuts throughout the day.
