Nestled at the foot of Pointe Percée (highest point of the Aravis), the Doran refuge welcomes you in a friendly atmosphere where pastoralism, sport and nature coexist harmoniously.
Come and discover the making of tomme in the neighboring alpine farm and follow wild trails in order to get up close and personal with the very present wild fauna (ibex, chamois, etc.) and have the chance to be surprised by the bearded vulture.
Departure from numerous hikes in the Aravis over one or several days (possibility of going around Pointe Percée), stage of the tour of the Mont Blanc country but also near the Tours d'Areu (one of the best spots in Haute-Savoie with numerous routes ranging from 6b to 7c), the Doran Refuge is the ideal base camp!
The Refuge de Doran welcomes you with half board or offers you the possibility of using the off-bag room with kitchen area equipped with a gas stove and a sink in addition to the overnight stays.
Catering service at noon (menu from €22 reservation required), snacks and drinks all day.
