We welcome you to our mid-mountain refuge located at an altitude of 1495 m below Pointé Percée (2750 m), a 1-hour walk from the Burzier car park (Sallanches).

We are committed to promoting our beautiful region and, to do this, we work as much as possible with local producers in short supply chains!

We offer a simple, homemade menu, with a daily menu that changes daily.

We have a capacity of 54 places (5 dormitories and 2 private rooms).

It is possible to watch the cows being milked at the end of the day, around 16:30-17 p.m. from the end of June to mid-September.

We look forward to welcoming you to the shelter.

Le Refuge de Doran welcomes you with half board or offers you the possibility of using the picnic room with kitchen area equipped with a gas cooker and a sink in addition to overnight stays.
Catering service at noon, menu from €20 (reservation required).

Access conditions for motorized vehicles

4x4: allowed all year round on the jeep path.
pedestrians: Gypaète trail to avoid 4x4s (forest trail with steep slope)

Sustainable tourism

In an eco-responsible approach, we are implementing several actions to preserve the environment:

* Short circuit sourcing to promote local producers and reduce our carbon footprint.
* Composting organic waste to limit waste and naturally enrich the soil.
* Sorting and recycling of waste for responsible management of resources.
* Use of solar panels for more sustainable electricity production.
* Water supply from our own sources, guaranteeing responsible management of this precious resource.
