“Fleur d’eau” is an open-air exhibition by the photographer artist Giandra de Castro. Come and discover around thirty prints including two exclusive photos highlighting the Combloux biotope water body.
The town of Combloux is pleased to present an exhibition by the artist Giandra de Castro. This artist captures the diversity and beauty of our Haute-Savoie landscapes, paying particular attention to the reflections in the water through her lens.
His photographs, which seem to come from a dream or painted in the style of Monet, will guide you in an exploration of large spaces in the infinitely small, or to completely change the way you interpret a landscape.
We are delighted to announce that the municipality of Combloux acquired in June 2024, around thirty prints from different series by the artist, including two works highlighting our Biotope Water Plan.
The exhibition, entitled “À fleur d’eau”, is freely accessible from June 8 to January 6, 2025. To celebrate the launch of the first outdoor exhibition of such scale in our village, we invite you to its inauguration on Wednesday July 3 from 19:15 p.m. This event will be an opportunity to offer you a tasting of our homemade floral waters and to introduce you to the artist's work during a guided walk.
Tours guided by the artist on Fridays July 5, 10, 19 and August 9, 16 and 30, 2024, departing from the Biotope lake lookout.
