Combloux welcomes this weekend the 47th Festival of Brass Bands of Haute-Savoie

This weekend, Combloux and its Fanfare Battery L'Echo du Mont-Blanc will host the 47th Haute-Savoie Fanfare Battery Festival. For the occasion, nearly 400 musicians representing the department's 17 brass bands will gather in Combloux for two days of music and good humor.

The inhabitants of the village will also put their hands in the dough since they will be responsible for receiving one of the ensembles in their neighborhood for an aperitif concert on Sunday lunchtime.

Finally, the children of the Orchestras at the School of Combloux will also take part in the event by performing a piece of music retracing the history of Combloux, commissioned especially for the event from Jean-Jacques Charles, second in command of the peacekeepers.

A great event in perspective after two years of interruption due to the Covid-19 epidemic, and on a symbolic date for Combloux, thirty years after having hosted the event for the first time (Combloux was the host village in 1992, 1998 and 2007).
