Neige will be in Paris to represent Combloux at the 2023 Salon de l'Agriculture

After Hortensia last year, Neige, also from the “Les Belles des Champs” estate, will be heading to Paris this weekend to carry the colors of Combloux loud and clear at the Show. of Agriculture 2023 which will be held at Porte de Versailles from February 25 to March 5.

Born in Combloux on the Chambel family's farm “Les Belles des Champs”, from a mother named Lionne and Jolly Jumper, Neige is a beautiful abundance cow aged 6 and weighing 700kg. His name was not chosen at random! It refers to his head, all white. With a last calf born in December, Neige ensures a good milk production of around 30 liters per day.

Neige will take part in the abundance race competition next Wednesday, a recognition of the work done on several lines in the Combloran farm. It is also a great highlight for the Combloux destination and its local know-how. After several participations in the Paris show, Frédéric Chambel confirms the interest of visitors who come to meet him by recognizing the name of the station.

In summer, the cows of Les Belles des Champs graze peacefully in the mountain pastures of Crève-Coeur and Beauregard. The milk produced by the herd of around 70 heads is collected by the Pays du Mont-Blanc cooperative for the production of Reblochon.

Alongside their work as farmers, Julie and Frédéric Chambel also welcome holidaymakers to their very comfortable gîte located just above the stable, for an exotic stay and a reconnection with nature.

If you are passing through the Salon de l'Agriculture, don't hesitate to come and greet Frédéric and his cow Neige, who will proudly represent Combloux.
