28th edition of La Comblorane: record enthusiasm and limited places!
On June 8 and 9, 2024, La Comblorane, an all-public event dedicated to trail running, returns for its 28th edition with an enriched race offer and a record number of registrants, testifying to the undeniable enthusiasm for this sporting event in Combloux . This year, an exhibition village (Cairn, Näak, Terre de Running, etc.) will take place near the biotope water body and will be open to all. Also, a wellness center will be set up, offering runners a place to relax and recover after their events. Registrations will be open until June 6 inclusive, with an increase in prices from May 31, 2024.
For this new edition, La Comblorane is offering a new race format: the M Course, a 15-kilometer event which is added to the already popular 7, 25 and 42 kilometer courses. This new distance offers runners an intermediate opportunity to take on the challenge of trail running in breathtaking landscapes and in a friendly atmosphere.
With a total of 1180 participants registered to date, the enthusiasm for La Comblorane is palpable. There are still a few places available for those who wish to join the adventure. In particular, 12 places on the XL (42 km), 4 places on the M race (15 km) and 81 places on the S race (7 km).
To add an extra dimension to the experience, two events open to all will also be offered. On Friday June 7 at 18:30 p.m., at the Tourist Office, athletes from the Combloux athlete center, including Baptiste Chassagne, French long trail champion, will be present for a time of discussion and a film screening. On Saturday June 8 from 8 a.m. and upon registration, a Community run in the company of Combloux athletes will offer everyone the opportunity to prepare before the official start.
