Thomas Dillinger, 16, lives in Domancy and studies at the Mont-Blanc high school in Passy. Passionate about ventriloquism, he already captivates spectators with his talent. He will perform in the first part of the Great Combloux show. A unique opportunity to discover a promising young artist.
Why ventriloquism?
What inspired me to get into ventriloquism was growing up with the stage because my father was an assistant conductor in a band, and he also takes care of a famous singer (star of the musical “Je vais t'aimer”) that I regularly meet. I also recently rediscovered Jeff Panacloc.
I have been practicing the art of ventriloquism since November 2022. I obtained my first intervention in an EHPAD in Sallanches in December 2022 and since then, I have performed regularly in my region, but also outside (example: finalist of the “Montélimar du Laugh 2024”).
Tell us about your puppet
Philippe is special to me because he is a unique puppet in the world, made according to my wishes by a craftswoman in Hungary. I want to do humor with him. I chose a baby character for two reasons: for me, a ventriloquist puppet has to be something that doesn't speak in basic terms, and that you can only see speaking in that register (this makes the art even more amazing). The second reason is that it amuses me to talk about certain things, but seen from a child and his carelessness.
To create this character, I was inspired by several big names in humor such as Jeff Panacloc, Les Inconnus, Paul Mirabel…
What will we see on Thursday evenings?
I propose to introduce ventriloquism to the public of the Grand Spectacle de Combloux, as well as our universe to Philippe and me, through new sketches written during the last months.
Also, in these same sketches, I propose interactions between the public and Philippe. People will discover Philippe's life and how he tries to understand (as best he can) everyday life subjects such as love, school or even work...

As web project and press relations manager at the Combloux Tourist Office, I am responsible for updating the website and informing journalists about the latest news from our beautiful destination.
What I love above all is meeting new people and discovering their world. Originally from Brittany, the mountain world has many wonderful surprises in store for me. And in Combloux, there is no shortage of personalities! It is therefore with pleasure and enthusiasm that I share articles and interviews with you, so that Combloux no longer has any secrets for you.
