The Combloranne Mountain Race

The race 'La Combloranne' is organised for fourteenth years by the ski resort of Combloux. This amiable race gathers those who like running and/or walking. There are three disciplines :

1) An 18km (about 11 miles) race with 800m of climbing for certified and non-certified runners, however, a medical certificate is needed to take part in the race that starts at 9 a.m.

2) The free style walking is a 13 km (8 miles) race open to everybody ; the race stars at 8 a.m.

3) Family race - walking through 4 kms (around 2 and a half miles), starts at 9:30 a.m.

The meeting point is in the parking area of the Cry ; the distribution of the numbers is there as well at 7:15 a.m. During the race four refreshment points are provided for the runners and on the arrival the Tourist Office offers a meal to the participants - Pasta party.
The distribution of prizes will take place in the free lunch room at the Cry at 2 a.m.

Fees

The 18 km race is 13€ or 15€ on the day ; the free style walk and the family race for the adults is 13€ or 15€ on the day ; the family race for children is 7.50€ or 8.50€ on the day.
